Holland Blues U11’s 1 v 6 Cornard Dynamos Blues U11’s

This game was always going to be a difficult one for Holland as they started with only 10 men. This however, had no effect on their commitment to the game.

With a number of early chances for Cornard just going wide, it was always about when the first goal would go in. Once it had, Cornard pressed their advantage and three more goals came at regular intervals. The score was 4-0 to Cornard at half time.

At the start of the second half Holland came out fighting and some sloppy passing by Cornard allowed them to pull a goal back. However two more goals by Cornard made it a respectable scoreline.

Goal scorers were : Ryan McNicholas 2, Bradley Beevis-Buchannon 2, Josh Bowles, Joe Coppin.

Clare town Lions 8 Crusaders blues 0

Clare put the pressure on from the start and within 3 minutes a fine run by
James Rawlinson led to his 1st goal, then shortly after Charlie Holmes put a
great ball through for Aaron Jeffery to go close.
Clare were now pushing hard and good build up play gave sean Harrison a goal
on 19 minutes, the crusaders were defending well until a mix up with their
goalie and defenders caused by charlie gave him Clare's 3rd before half
time.
The second half started as the first when Harry Beavis scored from a corner
on 38 minutes. The midfield was dominating and luke wheeler's shot went
close but Alfie Frost got an easy tap in for 5 nil, then great linking play
through the midfield led to Alfies 2nd.
Charlie again led the midfield and set up James for his 2nd, then he became
the provider to give Alfie his hatrick.
Late on Clare were awarded a penalty which the crusaders goalie pulled out a
great save from a fine taking penalty from Bradley Clark.
Clare played good football with James Rawlinson and Alfie Frost taking man
of the match, a mention must be said for the Crusaders who worked tirelessly
till the end and Ian Gammage for good referring.
