As the score shows, Cornard was never seriously challenged in their first game of the season.  Josh Palmer scored the first of his brace within the opening minute swiftly followed by Thomas Baker who scored a total of 4.  The other goal scorers were Tyler Beer, 2, Josh Bowles, 3 and Owen Martin, Callum Smith and Sam Clark who each scored one a piece.  Credit must be given to Feering’s goalie, he made a number of good saves but the teamwork shown by Cornard shone through.  Strong defending from Jack Martin-Halls and Sam Ashby meant that Cornard’s goalie, Tom Clarke (who was awarded man of the match) only touched the ball once, for a goal kick, for the duration of the match.

Cornard found themselves starting the season at sunny Feering and soon got to work they had Feering on the back foot for most of the first half and run in four goals but their lack of desire to get back and defend meant that they conceded two sloppy goals to make it 4-2 at half time. After a good team talk at half time Dynamos looked solid at the back and went on to score four more goals in this half  to make the final score 8-2.
