2013/14 season Colchester A league, we are looking to sign 4 or 5 new players to bring the squad to 20,we will be merging with both our Colchester A and B U15s so this will be a good learning curve for you. 2012-13 season are looking for new players After an amazing season, where our players received a combined 21 offers from academies and we played the likes of Tottenham, West Ham, Ipswich and Southend, five of our players have secured academy contracts with Tottenham, West Ham & Ipswich. As such we’re looking for FIVE new players to join our talented squad for next season (2013-14). We can offer a development pathway like few other clubs with our strong links to academies. Sessions are taken by an FA qualified, CRB checked and fully insured coach who runs his own coaching company, whilst acting as a scout for a Category 1 academy. Our philosophy is centred around developing the creative, imaginative and innovative player, with our training taking on a heavy Dutch influence. On Saturday 15th, Saturday 22nd and Saturday 29th June we will be holding open training sessions for those wishing to join the side for next season. We are looking for GK's, Defenders, Midfielders and forwards. Our Club is in working progress towards FA Charter Standard and we abide by the FA Respect campaign. Tempest U11's
Tempest FC will be entering one team into the Colchester and District Youth league next season (2013/14) in the U11 age group (school year 6) and would like to invite players of a capable standard to an open day trial. Playing format for next season will be 9v9, which represents new challenges for players. The trial will last for 3 hours between 9:30 and 12:30 on Saturday 18th May 2013 at Broad Lane Sports Ground, Wivenhoe. This will allow each player and parent to see the club's facilities and meet the coaches. Each player will take part in some Defensive, Attacking and Midfield sessions and small sided games, laid on by the team's level 2 coach. The age group has been relatively successful over the past season finishing high in the Red league table, reaching the League cup Qtr-finals, Colchester Open cup Semi-Final and Suffolk Open cup Final and also qualifying for the Futsal County cup Final.
