BROOMFIELD FC ANNUAL SUMMER FUNDAY TOURNAMENT
Broomfield YFC extends a warm welcome to all clubs interested in entering our annual 5-a-side tournament. This year it will be held on June 12^th and June 13^th. Entry fee is £25 per team. Competitive Age groups are U9 to U15 plus men and vets tournaments with U8’s playing exhibition games. All normal facilities, licensed bar and sideshow activities will be on hand. Due to the popularity of the tournament, places at some age groups can be at a premium so early booking would be advised.

AFC Sudbury would like to invite all teams to enter their 2^nd annual football tournament
The event is being held on Saturday 10^th July / Sunday 11^th July 2010.
Under 7’s, U8’s, U9’s & U10’s will be playing Mini Soccer
Under 11’s, U12’s, U13’s, U14’s, U15’s & U16’s will be playing 5-a-side
Saturday 10^th July 2010 will be for U12’s, U13’s, U14’s, U15’s and U15’s
Sunday 11^th July 2010 will be for U7’s, U8’s, U9’s, U10’s and U11’s
The event is being held at AFC Sudbury’s King Marsh Stadium in Sudbury, Suffolk.
In addition to the football tournaments there are many other attractions including numerous stalls and sideshows, bouncy castles and other inflatable’s, a fully licensed bar with TV, Burger Stalls and other refreshments. Car parking is also available on site and within local area.

Training and playing facilities at the Sports Centre in Tiptree
The 3 Generation artificial turf pitch (ATP) is a monofilament polyethylene blend fibres tufted into a polypropylene backing, with a mixture of silica sand and rubber infill. It is one of the Boroughs premium sporting facilities and provides access to an international sized football pitch available all year round, which can also be divided into 4 x 5-a-side and 2 x 7-a-side. This revolutionary pitch reacts in exactly the same way as grass and players can even wear normal football boots. The floodlights are high lux level halogen bulbs.
We have spaces for training on Mondays between 6 and 10 pm, Tuesdays between 8 – 10 pm and Thursdays 6 – 7pm. There are also spaces available on Saturday afternoon and Sunday afternoon for matches and training.

5 coaching apprenticeship positions available.
This is a volunteer role, giving the apprentice the opportunity to gain the following qualifications - NVQ in Activity Leadership at Level 2, FA Level 1 & 2 coaching certificates and Key Skills.
The role of the apprentice is to work with young children within schools and at the club, assist our coaches at schools and facility management at the club.
As a volunteer in the programme, these vacancies are unpaid but the successful candidates may be able to claim EMA dependant on family income.
The Working Week:
The working week will be a minimum of 16 hours a week and a maximum of 20 Hours.
This may include some evening and weekend work.
Location:
The main base will be at Wivenhoe Town Football Club, Broad Lane, but coaching sessions will be delivered in Essex and Suffolk (transport provided).
Much of the work will be based outside.
The candidate will require:
Some football skills would be preferred and the ability to relate to young people.
Reliable team member and willing to learn and develop.
